Congratulations to all of the pre-registration trainees who passed the September assessment, in particular all of the successful trainees that we supported during their training. Those of you who will be joining the register in November can take a look at our Registering as a pharmacist fact sheet. This contains information about registration and looking for work.
For those who didn’t receive the results they were hoping for, don’t despair. Take a look at the information and support available below:
Failed the assessment
Nobody likes to fail. If you fail the assessment it is only natural that you will feel disappointed. However, help is at hand. Take a look at our Failed the assessment fact sheet. This fact sheet covers topics such as re-marks, appeals and additional 6 month placements. If you have failed your pre-registration assessment three times, there are still options available to you, outlined in our Careers advice for pharmacy graduates fact sheet.
Looking after your wellbeing
Whether you’re embarking on your new career, or preparing for a resit, things can get stressful. Pharmacist Support is keen to help you look after your wellbeing and we run wellbeing workshops for pre-reg trainees, pharmacy students and pharmacists across Great Britain. Our Listening Friends provide a listening ear in times of stress. The telephone helpline is staffed by trained volunteers and provides callers with the opportunity to talk anonymously and in confidence to a pharmacist. For further information, click here.
