Whilst it cannot eliminate life's pressures, mindfulness can be a good way of helping people to deal with them in a calmer manner that is beneficial to overall wellbeing.
The Wardley Wellbeing Service is dedicated to supporting the wellbeing and mental health of our pharmacy family.
It was developed as a result of a legacy that was left to the charity in 2012 in memory of pharmacy owner Robert Wardley. Robert understood the pressures those in the profession faced and wanted his legacy to be used to support pharmacists struggling with stress. His gift has enabled the charity to research and develop this wellbeing service consisting of a range of workshops and online support tools to help you and your team manage your wellbeing.
There are three areas in the Wardley Wellbeing Service:
Wardley Wellbeing Hub (for individuals, teams and groups)
Wellbeing Learning Platform (for individuals)
Wellbeing Workshops (for pharmacy teams and student groups)
Further information about each area is available below.

Our Wellbeing Workshops are for teams of pharmacists and pharmacy students. They’re packed with information, tools and techniques to help you recognise the signs and symptoms of stress and deal with everyday pressures. They will help you find a way not only to survive but to thrive.
Due to COVID-19 we are unable to deliver our popular face-to-face workshops but now have four workshops available online. All content is recorded with planned activities. All that is required is a host who will oversee the delivery and organise group participation in the exercises.
