Starting university is usually one of the best times of your life and a positive experience for most students. On this page we go into detail about what to expect from university and your MPharm degree, and how to tackle some problems you might encounter.
What is the Pharmacist Support National Student Bursary Scheme?
Pharmacist Support launched the National Student Bursary scheme in 2013. It exists to help 3rd year pharmacy students (4th year if doing a sandwich degree) going into their final year of study who are facing unexpected financial difficulty due to an unforeseen adversity. The limited bursary awards are for £3,000 or £5,000.
When can I apply?
The 2022 Bursary Scheme has now closed and we are unable to accept any further requests for applications. The next Bursary Scheme will be launched early 2023 and students who will be entering their final year in 2023/24 will be eligible to apply.
Further financial support for pharmacy students
The charity does also provide a student hardship grant. Any student enrolled on an MPharm degree course and experiencing unexpected financial difficulty is eligible to apply for the grant during the academic year.
