How to apply for financial assistance

This page details what steps you need to take to apply for a grant. Any information you provide in the form will be treated in confidence and not shared outside of the charity.

Before you apply

Completing the application form

To apply for financial assistance, you must complete a grant application form as fully as possible and submit it to the charity with supporting documentation. The application form and guidance notes can be downloaded using the link below.

Assessment of applications

Applications for financial assistance are assessed on a case by case basis and on the level of income against the level of essential outgoings. There needs to be evidence of financial hardship or potential hardship. We may need to ask you for further information at this stage. Once we have all the information we need we will endeavour to make a decision within 10 working days.
