If you are currently experiencing hardship, please contact us. We can help you assess whether an application for assistance is the best route and discuss what other support might be available to you. We are here to listen and to help in confidence.

Are you eligible for financial assistance?

You are eligible to apply for assistance if you are a pharmacist, a widow or widower of a pharmacist or a retired pharmacist and either you or your partner have been registered as a pharmacist  with the General Pharmaceutical Council or RPSGB. We can also help any member of your family who is dependent on you for financial support. MPharm students at a university in Great Britain and pre-registration trainees are also eligible to apply for support.

Completing the application form

To apply for financial assistance you must complete an application form and submit it to the charity with supporting documentation. The application form and guidance notes can be downloaded using the button at the bottom of the page. Details of what you will need to provide are given in the guidance notes to the application form.

Completed application forms

During this period of uncertainty we encourage all applications for financial assistance to be submitted via email. Completed forms and supporting documents should be sent to grants@pharmacistsupport.org

Assessment of your application

Applications for financial assistance are assessed on a case by case basis and on the level of income against the level of essential outgoings. There needs to be evidence of hardship or potential hardship. We may need to ask you for further information at this stage. Once we have all the information we need we will endeavour to make a decision within 10 working days.
