It is the time of year when many of you will be signing up to run for your chosen charity, or indeed take up another challenge and of course we hope that you will donate to Pharmacist Support!
If you feel you might need some encouragement, tips on keeping your energy levels up or help with keeping track of your own goals, you might like to visit some of the websites listed below. And if you know of any other useful site with advice and tips, please let us know or post them on our Facebook or Twitter pages.
Here’s a great article with tips and experience from other charity runners:
If you are planning to run a race or participate in a fundraising activity this spring in aid of Pharmacist Support, do let us know and we will help you raise as much as possible by promoting your run via our social media channels.
It may not be a run, however, it could be a hike or even a bike ride. Clinical Adviser (Medicines) at NHS England (London region) and Pharmacist Support Trustee Jonathan Mason is cycling from Marble Arch to the Arc de Triomphe in May. His Justgiving page Arch to Arc can be found here: http://www.justgiving.com/Jonathan-Mason10. On this page you can view Jonathan’s progress and encourage him on.
We hope that you will find the energy and encouragement from friends to take up your challenge but if you are unable to join in the fund-running (or cycling!), why not support those who are? Your support is much needed and without your donations we would not be able to continue to deliver our services to those who really need us.
