Volunteer

Volunteers staff our Listening Friends helpline, deliver our Home Visitor service and help raise awareness and funds through our Charity Ambassador scheme.

All of our volunteers are current or retired pharmacists, trainees and students, and because of this shared professional background they are uniquely able to understand the specific pressures affecting pharmacists and their families and pharmacy students.

Home Visitors visit beneficiaries in their home. They visit our regular grant recipients and others who may benefit from a friendly face and personal contact from the Charity. They may help with a grant application, listen to the concerns of the beneficiary or identify areas for possible further assistance.

Listening Friends provide a telephone based listening service to those in the profession facing a variety of issues. For more information on the Listening Friends service click here.

Ambassadors staff information stands, deliver presentations and recruit and host fundraising events across the country. For more information on the Charity Ambassador scheme click here.

We are not currently recruiting volunteers. Any future vacancies will be advertised on our website, in our e-newsletter and in the pharmacy press.
