Pharmacyshows.co.uk donates another £800 to Pharmacist Support

A huge thank you to pharmacyshows.co.uk which has donated £800 to help us support even more people across our pharmacy family.

As we get ready to attend the Scottish Pharmacy Trade Show on 18th September, we are thrilled to announce we have received another donation from the team at pharmacyshows.co.uk (the parent company of the event). This is in addition to the £800 already donated from their Welsh Pharmacy Trade Show in May.

Managing Director, Amy Stephenson, said thatPharmacist Support is a valuable and vital service for the profession, especially at a time where the pressures in pharmacy are where they are just now. We were honoured to be able to do our bit to support the cause by donating our paid ticket values to the charity.”

Speaking of the donation, Pharmacist Support’s Chief Executive, Danielle Hunt, says:

“We’re very grateful that the team at pharmacyshows.co.uk has continued to support the profession’s independent charity. Through generous donations such as these, Pharmacist Support can continue to provide crucial help to our pharmacy family via our support services.”

Our charity relies onindividual and corporate donationsto ensure pharmacy students, trainees and pharmacists have access to free, independent and confidential support. Like many charities, Pharmacist Support has experienced fundraising challenges due to the ongoing cost of living crisis. With the help of this generous donation, we can continue helping those who need us throughour support services and work towards our aim of raising £1million over the next four years.

The Scottish Pharmacy Trade Show is a subsidiary of pharmacyshows.co.uk which specialises in bringing pharmacy professionals together through events, workshops and trade shows. We’re very excited to be attending for the first time, to connect with individuals from our profession and share details of how we can support them and their teams throughout their pharmacy career. By visiting our stand, attendees will be able to receive information about our free and confidential support services, mental health and wellbeing workshops for individuals and teams, and our workplace culture training course for pharmacy managers and leaders (Embracing a Workplace Wellbeing Culture).

The event takes place on Wednesday 18th September in Falkirk. Please visit the pharmacyshows.co.uk website to find out more and to book your place
