Pharmacist Support and Teva UK announce renewed partnership
Pharmacist Support and Teva UK are delighted to announce we have renewed our partnership, working closely together to expand charitable support across the profession.
Teva UK first worked with Pharmacist Support in 2020 when they committed to supporting our inaugural ACTNow wellbeing campaign, and we’ve been partnering with the generics and biopharmaceutical medicines producer since 2022. Through this partnership, Teva UK helps us to raise awareness of our free and confidential support services, develop mental health and wellbeing resources, and deliver keynote sessions at the major pharmacy events. Teva UK will also continue to be a headline sponsor of our annual Pharmacist ACTNow campaign, which supports pharmacists, pharmacy managers and pharmacy teams with mental health and wellbeing in their professional and personal lives.
Danielle Hunt, our charity’s Chief Executive, says:
“Our vision is for no one in our pharmacy family to face challenging times without us by their side and, as an independent charity, collaboration is crucial to the success of our charitable work. We’re delighted to renew our partnership with Teva UK so that we can raise vital funds and be there for people across our profession who are facing difficulty.”
General Manager UK at Teva UK, Kim Innes, says of the partnership:
“Teva UK is proud to continue our partnership with Pharmacist Support and the important work they do in championing wellbeing within the pharmacy profession. As a front-line health service, pharmacy serves as a linchpin in healthcare, providing a valuable service in often challenging and pressurised circumstances.”
Pharmacist Support is a well-established, independent and trusted charity supporting pharmacists and their families, former pharmacists, trainee pharmacists and pharmacy students. We provide a wide variety of free and confidential support services, including Information and Enquiries, Specialist Advice, Financial Assistance, Addiction Support, Counselling and Peer Support, and the Wardley Wellbeing Service.
