Thank you to Core Prescribing Solutions for their generous donation!

Following on from their contribution last year, we’re delighted to receive a donation again from the team at Core Prescribing Solutions which will go directly towards helping people across our pharmacy family who are facing challenging circumstances.

Co-founders Layequr Rahman, Sohail Ahmed and Adeem Azhar say that “Being pharmacists ourselves, we felt it was a natural choice to support our colleagues during these challenging times by donating to Pharmacist Support for the second consecutive year. The charity has consistently provided invaluable assistance to pharmacists over the years, and we are proud to contribute to their commendable efforts and be part of their ongoing mission to support our profession”.

Pharmacist Support relies on individual and corporate donations to ensure pharmacy students, trainees and pharmacists have access to free, independent and confidential support. Like many charities, we’ve had a challenging few years which means we’re having to find new ways to plug the fundraising gap caused by the pandemic and ensuing cost-of-living crisis. Speaking of the donation, Pharmacist Support’s Chief Executive, Danielle Hunt, says:
