Clinical Pharmacist Academy makes another donation to Pharmacist Support!
Read all about how Clinical Pharmacist Academy continues to support our charity through annual donations.
Two years ago, Clinical Pharmacist Academy reached out to us to commit to donating a portion of annual profits to Pharmacist Support. Following on from their contribution last year, we’re delighted to receive a donation again this year which will go directly towards helping people across our pharmacy family who are facing challenging circumstances.
The commitment has been spearheaded by their Managing Director, Mahmud Yusupov, a former beneficiary of our Support Services who always wanted to give back to the charity. He told us:
“At Clinical Pharmacist Academy, we’re deeply committed to supporting and advancing our profession. This year, we’re proud to increase our donation to Pharmacist Support from £665 to £1100, reflecting our growing commitment to the wellbeing of profession. As someone who has personally benefited from their services, I understand the crucial role they play in our community.
In addition to our previous pledge, we’re now committing to donate £5 from each successful DPP Connect service to Pharmacist Support. Our goal is to keep increasing our donations year on year, ensuring that as we grow, so does our support for the profession. By supporting Pharmacist Support and launching innovative services, we’re investing in the future of pharmacy and ensuring that help is available for those who need it most.”
Like many charities, Pharmacist Support has had a challenging few years which means we’re having to find new ways to plug the fundraising gap caused by the pandemic and ensuing cost-of-living crisis.
Speaking of the donation, Pharmacist Support Chief Executive, Danielle Hunt, says:
“We are very grateful for the ongoing support from Clinical Pharmacist Academy through their annual donation pledge. With the help of this generous contribution, we’ll be able to provide life-changing assistance to even more people across our profession and ensure that they don’t face challenging times alone.”
The charity relies on individual and corporate donations to ensure pharmacy students, trainees and pharmacists have access to free, independent and confidential support. Therefore, we’re very grateful to Clinical Pharmacist Academy for choosing to get behind the work of Pharmacist Support. If your organisation would also like to help us reach our target of raising £1 million over the next four years through a corporate donation, please reach out to us – we’d love to hear from you!
Clinical Pharmacist Academy is part of Clinical Pharmacist Solutions, a training, recruitment and services provider for GP surgeries and PCNs. Their aim is to support pharmacists to transition into and accelerate their development within the primary care sector. They have recently launched their new DPP Connect Service which aims to further upskill the pharmacy profession by connecting pharmacists with Designated Prescribing Practitioners.

Please help us to support our pharmacy family
We will always be here to support our pharmacy family, whenever they need us. But we can't do it without you. As an independent charity, we rely on generous donations from those in the profession in order to continue our work.
