New faces at Team PS!
We're excited to share with you news of some new ... and newly permanent faces here at team PS!
We’re excited to share with you news of some new … and newly permanent faces here at team PS! Our Interim Finance Manager, Gill we’re delighted to announce is now a permanent fixture (hurrah!) and we’ve recently welcomed into the fold Pete who joins us in the role of Interim Services Support Officer. Pete will be overseeing our Wardley wellbeing workshops, supporting our information team with enquiries and coordinating the Listening Friends scheme. If you’ve not met them yet – here’s a digital intro!
Gill
When our Gill isn’t putting together spreadsheets or helping keep the charity ticking over she’s likely to be found either buried in a good book or writing one of her own! Our Gill isn’t just a fantastic financier, but she’s a wizard with words and one of the most committed members of our bookclub! She’s worked for multiple housing trusts and currently sits on the board of trustees for a foodbank. She’s a great addition to the team and we couldn’t be happier that she’s sticking around.
Pete
Pete joins us from the Liverpool Guild of Students where he was Democracy & Campaigns Manager “which essentially means I was in charge of most things student engagement, and helping students communicate with the University when they want things changing” he reliably informed us! Before that Pete worked in student engagement at Manchester Met, in policy and compliance at Uni of York and has also done some campaign work with charities like Scope and the Genetics Alliance. Pete is a huge American Football fan, and spends his spare time cheering on the New England Patriots (Go Pats!).
