CPC North chooses Pharmacist Support as its charity for second year running!
Read all about our evolving partnership with the CPC North, and how to connect with us at the event in November.
About our partnership
After the success of the first ever Clinical Pharmacy Congress North in autumn last year, the event will be returning 1 – 2 November in Manchester. CPC supports our work by offering us space and time within the congress to raise awareness of our free and confidential support services. The congress also supports our much-needed fundraising drive by contributing £1 per every ticket sold to the charity and encouraging event attendees to donate too. We’re very grateful for this opportunity to work towards our ambitious target of raising £1 million over the next four years as demand for our support services increases. All funds raised go directly towards supporting our pharmacy family.
Our Chief Executive, Danielle Hunt, says of the continued partnership:
“We’re delighted to partner again with the CPC North and very much value their continued support and enthusiasm that the team shows for our charity. They continue to share our joint aim of showcasing how Pharmacist Support can support pharmacists and pharmacy teams across our profession, and we can’t wait to be at the event in November.”
Laura Shapiro, Event Director at the CPC says:
“The Clinical Pharmacy Congress is once again delighted to partner with Pharmacist Support as our designated Charity for our event in Manchester. Mental health and wellbeing are matters close to our hearts, and collaborating with Pharmacist Support allows us to work alongside a charity that offers invaluable assistance and support to all pharmacy professionals. We are deeply appreciative of their contributions to our industry. We are enthusiastic about raising awareness and funds to support Pharmacist Support and sharing their incredible work within the sector.”
How we can support you at this year’s CPC North
The timing of this year’s show coincides with our Pharmacist ACTNow wellbeing campaign. This year, ACTNow focuses on three key areas to support workplace and individual wellbeing:
- Supporting equality, diversity and inclusion
- Combatting isolation and loneliness
- Championing physical health.
By subscribing to the campaign, you can access free support and guidance tailored for the whole pharmacy team.
Across the two days of CPC North, you’ll find us in our main session discussing mental health and wellbeing in pharmacy. We’ll also be at our stand where you’ll be able to grab yourself information about the campaign, our charitable services, and the latest wellbeing pack.
Where you’ll find us
Our stand: come and chat to us about how we can support you and your pharmacy team’s wellbeing at stand G36 in the exhibition hall.
