As the charity embarks on the development of a new five-year strategy, it is seeking to recruit two new pharmacist trustees to its Board.
Over the past five years, Pharmacist Support has significantly expanded its reach and impact, raising awareness of vital issues such as mental health and wellbeing within the profession. The addition of new trustees will further support the charity’s growth and development efforts.
“This is an ideal opportunity for pharmacists who want to support our ‘pharmacy family’ while developing their personal and professional skills,” said Pharmacist Support Chief Executive Danielle Hunt “and we encourage any passionate pharmacist to apply. Recent community pharmacy experience or previous engagement with our services would be advantageous.”
Pharmacist Support is committed to building a diverse and representative Board of Trustees, welcoming individuals of all ages, backgrounds, cultures, and levels of experience. Passion for the charity’s mission and a desire to make a positive impact are essential qualities.
“The time commitment for this role is approximately one day per month, including in person quarterly board meetings and quarterly online sub-committee meetings,” added Hunt, “and we offer flexibility to accommodate personal availability.”
To apply for the role, interested individuals are invited to submit a CV along with a covering letter (maximum of two pages) outlining their interest and relevant experience to recruit@pharmacistsupport.org.
