We’re very happy to announce our new Charity Partnership with pharmaceutical wholesaler AAH.
This collaboration marks the start of a joint commitment to providing a safety net to pharmacy students and professionals nationwide. Recognising the need for a sector-wide response to the pressures facing the industry, AAH reached out to us with the aim to amplify their support within the pharmacy profession.
As part of this Charity Partnership, AAH is providing funding to be used towards our charity’s services which will help people in our profession who are struggling with financial, addiction, mental health, wellbeing and personal and other work-related issues. Throughout the year, Pharmacist Support and AAH will be working together to raise awareness of our charity’s free and confidential support within the profession and collaborating on key awareness dates to share wellbeing and mental health resources with our pharmacy family.
Danielle Hunt, Chief Executive at Pharmacist Support, says of the Charity Partnership:
“We’re very happy to welcome AAH as a Pharmacist Support Charity Partner. Championing the wellbeing of our pharmacy family is a collective effort and this partnership will play an important role in raising awareness of our Support Services and supporting individuals studying and working in pharmacy who are facing a range of challenging circumstances.”
Brian Chambers, Chief Commercial Officer at AAH adds:
“We are delighted to announce that AAH has become a charity partner to Pharmacist Support. At AAH we fully recognise the important and demanding role that pharmacists perform in healthcare. That is why we are pleased to support a charity that champions wellbeing within the profession and provides vital support to individuals working in pharmacy. This is a reflection of our commitment to help pharmacies to thrive, beyond investing in the core services that we provide as a leading wholesaler.”
AAH is a leading distributor of pharmaceutical and healthcare products serving pharmacies, hospitals and doctors nationwide, working with 14,000 pharmacies and other organisations.
The importance of partnerships for the charity
This type of Charity Partnership is vital to the sustainability of our charity as it provides us stability, securing much needed funds to develop and run our vital support services.
We’re looking forward to working with AAH throughout the year to raise awareness of our free and confidential Support Services available for pharmacy students, trainees, pharmacists and their families, and former pharmacists in Great Britain.
