In August we expanded our fabulous team of PS Ambassadors yet again, delivering our first organisational ambassador training to the pre-registration team at Buttercups – a well-established, national, accredited training provider for pre-registration trainee pharmacists.
As organisational PS Ambassadors they will deliver presentations and host information stands to raise awareness of Pharmacist Support’s free and confidential support both internally amongst their cohorts of trainees, as well as out at external events. They are also fully on board the good ship #GoGreen4PS and have pledged to raise £500 across the week to help continue to assist those in the profession in need.
Paul Johnson, Professional Services Pharmacist at Buttercups said “The training we received from Emma and Kate at Pharmacist Support was informative and entertaining. We all learnt a great deal and have identified a number of ways in which we can work more closely with the charity to support better the pre-regs, pharmacists and students we frequently come into contact with. We’re also fired up to do our bit for #GoGreenforPS!”
So please join us in saying a BIG hello and welcome to our newest group of PS Ambassador recruits: Khilna Shah, Paul Johnson, Ellie Talbot, Jo Higham, Jagruti Shukla, Lena Mahbouba, Herpreet Sharma, Karen Stoodley, Anita Bedi, Suranjit Kamra, Lisa Goodinson and Marcus Pitfield.
Inspired to do his bit personally, Paul is also running the Lincoln Half Marathon on October 1st in aid of Pharmacist Support. Please show your support and donate to his fundraising page here.
