Contract: 1 year fixed term contract
(with possibility for extension)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Remuneration: £15-17,000pa (dependent on experience)

Pharmacist Support is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Marketing and Communications Administrator.

The role

The post holder will support the Marketing Manager and Fundraiser in administering, delivering and monitoring key charitable awareness raising and income generating activities. They will take particular responsibility for coordinating events (booking stands, accommodation and ordering event equipment), organising and minuting meetings, drafting communications (letters and emails) to volunteers, fundraisers, donors and beneficiaries, monitoring press, advertising and social media activities and for producing reports to enable the charity to assess the effectiveness of its campaigns. The Marketing and Communications Administrator will work closely on a day to day basis with the PA to the Chief Executive and report into the Marketing Manager.

What we’re looking for  

The charity is seeking a highly organised individual with a minimum of a year’s administrative experience to join its existing team in Manchester. The successful candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and an eye for detail. They should be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) and be comfortable using analytics tools such as Google and Twitter Analtyics and Facebook insights. Experience of, or an interest in social media is desirable. Above all the charity is looking for an individual who contributes to the wider charity team in a positive and enthusiastic manner.
