Practical workshops designed to help you build resilience, support your wellbeing and navigate the challenges of pharmacy life.
Our wellbeing workshops have been developed with pharmacy in mind. They’re packed with information, tools and techniques to help you manage and understand multiple aspects of your wellbeing, including recognising the signs and symptoms of stress, dealing with everyday pressures, and much more. They can be used toward revalidation and are designed to help you find a way not only to survive but to thrive. The current workshops we offer are:
This workshop is a perfect way to introduce the topic of wellbeing. It covers stress, behaviour cycles and identifying what can negatively impact wellbeing. The workshop explores techniques for dealing with feelings of pressure and tips to inspire a healthier lifestyle, including positive self-reflection and the five ways to wellbeing.
This workshop provides a deeper dive into wellbeing and looks at how to build resilience. As well as covering the science behind stress and anxiety and its effects, this workshop provides an insight into how our mindset can impact our wellbeing. It provides techniques for dealing with feelings of pressure including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and encourages participants to identify and build on strengths and explain the advantages of positive thinking and self-reflection, in addition to providing tips to enhance resilience and wellbeing.
This workshop provides an understanding of how you currently manage your time with ideas and tips to help you manage your time more effectively. This includes exploring techniques in planning, prioritising and delegation and touches on building confidence through assertiveness.
This workshop provides an understanding of assertiveness and the benefits it can provide in the workplace. It explores different communication styles and how to recognise them. The workshop will help you to increase your confidence through building assertiveness, encouraging positive relationships and learning how to set boundaries.
This workshop was created for those of us who feel we’d like to make a change in our lives but aren’t sure where to begin. The workshop starts with an exploration of values and how these can inform our goals, then looks at goal-setting and habit formation. We look at habits of mind and how we can move through self-defeating thoughts, as well as how gratitude can help.
This workshop covers what happens in the body and mind when stressed, looks at practices that can help, and explores the science behind these practices. We look at self-care and wellbeing, relaxation and meditation, sleep, relationships, and more, with a healthy dose of neuroscience thrown in.
This workshop is to help trainees and designated supervisors look after their wellbeing during the training year and beyond. This includes information and activities on recognising and managing stress, cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) techniques, the five ways to wellbeing, positive workplace relationships, overcoming challenges during training, and more.
We understand that preparing for exams and the assessment can be a stressful time. This workshop looks at strategies trainees and students can implement early to help them to look after their wellbeing during this time. We look at relaxation and meditation, the science behind visualization and how to use it, how our thoughts can impact how we feel, the importance of sleep, and other areas related to preparation for exams and the assessment.
This workshop explores the fascinating connection between food and mental health. With interactive activities and insights into the latest research, join us to learn practical ways you may be able to boost your wellbeing through what you eat.

This supportive and practical workshop explores the powerful connection between financial health and overall wellbeing. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of how money can influence stress levels and mental wellness and learn strategies to build financial confidence and resilience. With expert insights from Rebel Finance School, the session also looks at how financial stress can affect individuals and relationships. You’ll explore your personal values, develop tools to take control of your finances, and discover how mindset can help you move towards a more positive financial future. This workshop can be taken independently but also works well as pre-course or companion learning to the full Rebel Finance School course also available on our Wellbeing Learning Platform.

There are two ways you can access our wellbeing focused workshops outlined below:
The Wellbeing Learning Platform is for individual wellbeing learning and training and is available to pharmacists, trainees and students. By signing up to the platform, you can access and follow a range of free online wellbeing workshops at a time that suits you.
When you take a workshop on our Wellbeing Learning Platform you will experience the same content as one of our group workshops, but you can access the workshop at a time and in a place that is convenient to you. You can complete the workshop at your own pace, with the ability to pause and restart the workshop as you need.
Upon completion of each workshop, you will receive a completion certificate. Our workshops can be used as part of your revalidation process.
Wellbeing Activity Tracker
By signing up to the platform you also get access to our exclusive Wellbeing Activity Tracker.
Across 12 weeks, this helps you turn wellbeing tools into small weekly habits. You can use ideas from our wellbeing workshops and videos, or you can use something you already enjoy. At the end, you’ll have a clear record of what helped, what changed, and how your wellbeing has been impacted.. You can also choose to share your story and inspire others to take action for their wellbeing too.
Our Wellbeing Workshops are for teams of pharmacists, trainees and pharmacy students. You can run these workshops within your organisation; all that is required is a host who will oversee the delivery and organise group participation in the exercises.
We will provide a pre-recorded online workshop and detailed facilitator notes to assist you with facilitating the planned activities.
It is important to us that our workshops are accessible to everyone, whilst at the same time we must be mindful of our costs. As an independent charity we rely on donations from individuals and income from organisations in order to fund our work and ensure we are able to continue to provide our free and confidential services. For this reason, the fee for each pre-recorded online workshop is £150, which goes towards the costs of developing and hosting this content.
Upon completion of each workshop, all participants will have the option to receive a completion certificate. Our workshops can be used as part of the revalidation process.
