Supporting our pharmacy family this Mental Health Awareness Week

This Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re sharing practical support and resources to help you take action for your wellbeing.

Mental Health Awareness Week (MHAW) is an annual opportunity to come together, raise awareness and start meaningful conversations about mental health.

This year’s theme, “Take Action,” encourages us all to make small, meaningful changes that can have a positive impact on our wellbeing and the wellbeing of those around us.

For Pharmacist Support, this message closely reflects our mission and proactive approach to supporting our pharmacy family. We know that while awareness is important, meaningful change comes from taking action — whether that’s reaching out for support, checking in with a colleague or creating healthier workplace environments.

We also know from our ongoing work and research that many in the pharmacy profession are working under significant pressure. From increasing workloads to evolving roles, these challenges can take a toll on mental health and wellbeing. That’s why it’s so important that individuals and organisations feel empowered with the tools, confidence and support to take positive steps forward.

Throughout Mental Health Awareness Week, we’ll be sharing a range of practical resources and insights to help you take action in a way that works for you.

This includes:

  • A blog exploring the importance of workplace wellbeing and how our Embracing a Workplace Wellbeing Culture course is supporting leaders to create healthier environments
  • Information on our wellbeing workshops and how they can support you and your team
  • The launch of our new Wellbeing Tracker tool, accessible via the Wellbeing Learning platform. Designed to help you regularly check in with your wellbeing and build positive habits
  • The latest episode of our A Dose of Wellbeing podcast, offering supportive conversations and expert insights
  • Tips from our corporate partners, Orion Pharma UK, who are sharing the personal and organisational actions they take to prioritise mental health.

Whether you’re looking to support your own wellbeing or that of your team, we hope these resources will help you feel more informed, connected and confident to take action.

You can follow along and get involved throughout the week across our social channels, where we’ll be sharing daily content, tips and opportunities to connect.

At Pharmacist Support, our mission is to ensure that no one in the pharmacy family faces challenging times alone. This Mental Health Awareness Week, we’re encouraging everyone to take action — in whatever way feels right for them — and to remember that support is always available.
