In order for Pharmacist Support to provide effective, specialist support, we have partnered with other charities and organisations who are specialists in their field. This not only provides our service users with the highest possible standard of advice and treatment, it is also an efficient use of charity resources and finances.
We work with a number of organisations to provide specialist services to our pharmacy family. These include:
We work in partnership with Citizens Advice Manchester (CAM) to deliver our Specialist Advice Service. We refer people to CAM for free, confidential, impartial and independent specialist advice about employment, debt and housing, usually over the telephone and via email.
Working in partnership with the Counselling and Family Centre we are able to provide our confidential counselling service. The counselling service is appropriate for those who are suffering from anxiety, depression, a change in family circumstances that causes distress, bereavement, and other psychological issues.
Outcome Consulting, a provider of psychological solutions in the field of addiction, support us to deliver our addiction support. Executive Director of Outcome Consulting, Paul Sunderland, is a psychotherapist, treatment consultant and trainer with 30 years of experience in the treatment of addictions. Through this partnership we have supported hundreds of pharmacists and their families through a range of dependency issues covering alcohol, drugs, gambling, as well as eating disorders.
