Through its partnership with Pharmacist Support, The PDA donates £1 per member. This anniversary initiative will double that impact, helping to fund essential services for those who need them most.

Charity marks anniversary with call to strengthen support for the pharmacy family
To mark the Charity's 185th birthday, long-standing partner, The Pharmacists’ Defence Association (PDA), will double its donation for every new and renewing member who joins The PDA over the next month — helping to grow vital support for the pharmacy community.
Pharmacist Support is marking its anniversary on 15 April with a renewed call for the profession to come together and strengthen support for pharmacists, students and trainees.
To mark the occasion, the charity’s long-standing partner, The Pharmacists’ Defence Association (PDA), will double its donation to Pharmacist Support for every new and renewing member who joins The PDA over the next month — helping to grow vital support for the pharmacy community.
Since the partnership began in 2017, The PDA and its members have donated more than £342,000 to Pharmacist Support, helping to fund essential services for those facing challenging times.
As the demands on the profession continue to grow, so too does the need for support.

To celebrate the birthday of our professions especially important charity, The PDA is doubling its regular donation for members who join or renew for the next month to £2 per member. It is time for other pharmacy organisations to join us in making a substantial financial contribution.”
The Charity relies on charitable donations to continue providing our services and has set an ambitious target of raising £1 million over four years to sustain and grow its support for the profession and we’re encouraging individuals and organisations to show their support by making a donation.
