We’re very excited to announce our new corporate partnership with Orion Pharma (UK) Ltd., the UK affiliate of Orion Pharma, a leading Finnish developer and manufacturer of pharmaceuticals, with a shared ambition to promote positive wellbeing within the pharmacy profession.  

Through this partnership, Orion Pharma is providing funding to be used towards our charity’s services  which will help people in our profession who are struggling with financial, addiction, mental health, wellbeing and personal and other work-related issues. We’ll also be working together to champion pharmacy wellbeing, with Orion Pharma joining us as a headline sponsor of our annual Pharmacist  ACTNow campaign, becoming a valued sponsor of  our Dose of Wellbeing podcast and providing some of our Wellbeing Workshops for their employees. 

Research highlights a range of challenges for pharmacists 

The partnership is backed by our research which highlights the scale of the challenges facing the pharmacy profession and the urgent need for greater support and awareness around wellbeing. In our 2024 Workforce Wellbeing Survey, a staggering 87% of pharmacy professionals reported that they’re at high risk of burnout, with inadequate staffing, work-life balance challenges, financial pressures, lack of support from colleagues or senior staff and long working hours affecting their wellbeing.
