Farewell Olly

We caught up with our Marketing and Communications Administrator Olly to say goodbye before his contract ends and find out what's next for him.

For the last 18 months I have worked here at Pharmacist Support as the Marketing and Communications Administrator. It has been a great experience, getting to work alongside some of the kindest, most passionate and generally amazing colleagues. But as my contract comes to an end its time for some personal highlights:

  • Running the Manchester 10k back in the Spring. Our Enquiries Officer Riven (you may recognise his kind voice on the phone if you ever ring us!) and I ran the Manchester 10k to raise money for the charity. It was a great experience and has lead to us both training to run the Manchester Half Marathon next year!
  • Being involved in the Volunteers Together event last year was an amazing experience, getting to talk to so many passionate volunteers from all over the country and across so many sectors. It was really inspiring!
  • Getting the opportunity to meet so many amazing pharmacists, students and pre-reg trainees out at events, seeing the passion and love you have for your vocation is amazing.
  • And finally one for the staff: #ClickerGate

So what next?

I am going to be starting my Doctorate in Philosophy (specifically: Nietzsche’s relationship with 20th Century French Philosophy and how this shaped modern discourse on truth) which is about as exciting as it sounds 😉

So, live long and prosper friends!
