Become a Trustee
We are currently recruiting both pharmacist and lay trustees to join our Board of Trustees.
Trustees play an important role in helping shape the future direction of the charity, ensuring strong governance and supporting us to continue meeting the evolving needs of pharmacists and their families, former pharmacists, trainees and students.
We are keen to hear from pharmacists as well as individuals from outside the profession who can bring valuable skills, experience, perspectives and lived experience to the Board.
Esther Sadler-Williams, Chair of Pharmacist Support, said:
“Being a trustee is an incredibly rewarding opportunity to help make a meaningful difference to the wellbeing of our pharmacy family and shape the future direction of the charity. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive Board and would warmly encourage applications from people with a broad range of backgrounds, skills and experiences, whether or not they have previous trustee experience.”
Applications for trustee roles open on Friday 5 June and close at 12 noon on 3 August 2026. Interviews will take place on 10, 11 and 14 September 2026.
Become a Charity Ambassador
Alongside trustee recruitment, we are also expanding our Charity Ambassador network.
Charity Ambassadors help raise awareness of Pharmacist Support and champion wellbeing across the profession. There are lots of flexible ways to get involved, from supporting campaigns and events to sharing information within professional networks and helping connect the charity with new audiences and opportunities.
We are particularly keen to hear from individuals working across all areas of pharmacy, including community, hospital, GP pharmacy, academia and industry, as well as people at different stages of their careers and from across Great Britain.
Danielle Hunt, Chief Executive of Pharmacist Support, said:
“Volunteers are at the heart of Pharmacist Support and make an incredible contribution to the work we do. Whether someone joins us as a Trustee or Charity Ambassador, they will play an important role in helping ensure no one in our pharmacy family faces challenging times alone. We are keen to hear from people with a wide range of experiences, backgrounds and perspectives who share our passion for supporting wellbeing across the profession.”
Informal ambassador recruitment conversations will take place throughout the summer, with successful applicants invited to attend our volunteer event in September.
