We’re pleased to announce that we’re the nominated charity for the first ever CPC North!
Pharmacist Support and CPC (Clinical Pharmacy Congress) have been in partnership for 3 years running, and this year the team has chosen us to be their nominated charity at the first CPC North event which is in Manchester on Friday 3 and Saturday 4 November.
CPC supports our work by offering us space and time within the congress to raise awareness of our free and confidential support services. The congress also supports our much-needed fundraising drive by contributing £1 per every ticket sold to the charity and encouraging event attendees to donate too. We’re very grateful for this opportunity to raise much-needed funds. Like most charities across the country, we’ve experienced continued difficulties fundraising due to the cost-of-living crisis. All funds raised go directly towards supporting our pharmacy family through our vital support services.
Danielle Hunt, our Chief Executive, says of the partnership:
“We’re delighted to continue our valuable partnership with Clinical Pharmacy Congress and that they’ve chosen us as the charity partner at their first CPC North event. We share a joint aim of supporting our pharmacy family and showcasing how our charity can support pharmacists and pharmacy teams across the profession with their mental health and wellbeing. We’re looking forward to being at the event in November.”
Laura Shapiro, Event Director says:
“The Clinical Pharmacy Congress is once again delighted to partner with Pharmacist Support as our designated Charity for our inaugural event in Manchester. Mental health and wellbeing are matters close to our hearts, and collaborating with Pharmacist Support allows us to work alongside a charity that offers invaluable assistance and support to all pharmacy professionals. We are deeply appreciative of their contributions to our industry. We are enthusiastic about raising awareness and funds to support Pharmacist Support and sharing their incredible work within the sector.”
