Booking your Pearson VUE exam centre for the July sit

All exam candidates for the July sit should have received a communication from Pearson VUE inviting them to book their slot for the exam.  Candidates will need to create an account with Pearson VUE in order to book their slot. There are over 200 Pearson VUE exam centres in the UK. Candidates who sat the March exam and are looking to resit in July will not need to create an account, as they will have created one for the March sit. Preferred test centres

The GPhC has confirmed that there are enough test centre spaces for all the July exam candidates. However, candidates may not get their first choice of exam centre and/or preferred date. Candidates should be prepared to be flexible on dates and centres in order to be guaranteed a booking.

Rescheduling or cancelling your booking

Candidates who would like to reschedule their booking can do so up until 48 hours before the assessment day. This rescheduling is subject to availability. Candidates who are looking to withdraw from the July sit for health or personal reasons can do so up until 48 hours before the assessment day. Candidates should note that if they decide to withdraw from the July sit they should complete and submit a GPhC notification of withdrawal form. The deadline for submitting a withdrawal form is Thursday 5 August 2021.

Sitting the assessment abroad

Some overseas candidates will be able to sit the exam in their home country. Overseas candidates should have received an e-mail from the GPhC at the beginning of June about this. Those candidates who have not been contacted should get in touch with the GPhC for further advice. Candidates should also note that they are responsible for keeping their MyGPhC account up-to-date, including their current postal and e-mail address.

GPhC guidance for booking exam appointments

The GPhC has published guidance for exam candidates on booking an exam appointment at Pearson VUE. Candidates who are struggling to book their appointment should contact Pearson VUE in the first instance. If the issues are not resolved after speaking to Pearson VUE candidates should then contact the GPhC for further assistance.
