Pharmacist Support is looking for passionate and enthusiastic volunteers to join our Charity Ambassador network.
Whether you are on a registered trainee programme, a registered pharmacist or retired from practice, we would love to hear from you.
We are keen to hear from individuals working across all areas of pharmacy and are also looking to grow representation across all regions of Great Britain so that we can continue expanding awareness of the charity and the support available to our pharmacy family.
About Pharmacist Support
Pharmacist Support is an independent, trusted charity supporting the wellbeing of our pharmacy family. We provide free and confidential support to pharmacists and their families, former pharmacists, trainees and students, helping people navigate the personal and professional challenges that can affect wellbeing throughout their lives and careers.
About the role
As a Charity Ambassador, you will help raise awareness of Pharmacist Support and champion wellbeing across the profession. There are lots of ways to get involved depending on your interests, experience and availability. This might include:
- Sharing information about the charity within your networks
- Supporting events and campaigns
- Amplifying our social media messages
- Writing or contributing content
- Helping us connect with new audiences and opportunities
We encourage our ambassadors to bring their own ideas, experiences and connections to the role. Whether you can spare 30 minutes a month or support larger activities throughout the year, every contribution helps make a difference.
What we’re looking for
We are looking for people who are:
- Passionate about supporting the pharmacy profession
- Friendly, approachable and enthusiastic
- Comfortable communicating with others
- Keen to help raise awareness of the charity
- Interested in connecting with others across the sector
No previous volunteering experience is required and full support and guidance will be provided.
