Championing wellbeing at the Pharmacy Show: join Pharmacist Support this October.
Read all about our continuing partnership with the Pharmacy Show and how to connect with us at their event in October.
We’re proud to be the nominated charity, once again, for this year’s Pharmacy Show, taking place this October. As the profession continues to navigate significant workforce pressures and rising rates of burnout, the charity’s presence at the event couldn’t be more timely.
Danielle Hunt, our Chief Executive, says of the continued partnership:
“We’re proud to continue our partnership with the Pharmacy Show as their nominated charity. This collaboration provides an important platform for us to connect with pharmacy professionals, raise awareness of the wellbeing challenges facing the sector, and share practical tools and support. Together, we’re committed to creating lasting, positive change across the profession.”
Garry Tyson, Event Director at the Pharmacy Show, adds:
“The Pharmacy Show is once again extremely delighted to continue our long-standing partnership with Pharmacist Support. In a period marked by significant challenges – including increased workplace pressures and the ongoing need for mental health support – maintaining this partnership is more crucial than ever. We are committed in helping Pharmacist Support to further its mission in providing life-changing support, drive positive change, and champion the wellbeing of the pharmacy community. We are thankful for the vital support they are giving to all pharmacy professionals.”
How you can connect with us at the show
Attendees are invited to visit Pharmacist Support at our stand (L45), where the team will be on hand to chat with you about our latest wellbeing initiatives aimed at supporting pharmacists, trainees and students throughout their careers. The stand will also be an opportunity to learn more about our ongoing work and how pharmacy professionals can get involved or seek support.
A key highlight of the show will be Pharmacist Support’s dedicated session, Addressing burnout and managing wellbeing: best practices for building a healthy and happy workplace. Delivered by Chief Executive Danielle Hunt and Wellbeing Development Manager Melissa Cochrane, at 12.30 on Saturday 12th October in the Professional Development & Careers Theatre, this session will offer vital insights drawn from the charity’s latest workforce wellbeing survey and a recent roundtable event held in collaboration with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS).
The session will explore practical approaches to wellbeing at both an individual and organisational level, addressing critical issues such as burnout and mental health challenges within the profession. Delegates will also be among the first to hear about two new strands of the Pharmacist Support wellbeing offer, designed to empower individuals and support pharmacy leaders in creating more positive, sustainable workplace cultures.
Don’t miss this valuable opportunity to gain evidence-based wellbeing insights, practical strategies and connect with a charity dedicated solely to supporting those within the pharmacy sector. Visit the Pharmacist Support stand and join the session to be part of the conversation on shaping a healthier, happier future for the profession.
