The Health Support Programme exists to support people experiencing problems with alcohol, drugs, gambling, eating disorders or other types of dependency.
This service provides access to fully qualified addiction specialists, and all calls to the helpline are entirely confidential. If you have a dependency issue, or if you know of a friend or colleague with a problem, you can contact the Health Support Programme direct for advice.
We use the services of a specialist qualified addictions counsellor with many years of experience in the field.
Since 2010 we have supported 205 people seeking help with addiction. 26 of these have accessed residential treatment.
Our addiction support service helps to enable pharmacists to deal with their health issue, return to work whether as a pharmacist or in a different career and perform effectively. They can continue to manage their own life and be a contributing member of society.
