Adam is 36 and is the Business Development Manager at Chemist & Druggist magazine. Here he tells us all about why he’s agreed to throw himself out of a plane…all in the name of charity of course!
Tell us a little about yourself
I have never jumped out of a plane before and am excited to experience falling several thousand feet. I’m quite a sporty chap so not that scared but will have to see if I can keep my brave face on the big day.
Why did you decide to become a Pharmacist Support Fundraising Hero?
To support a great cause which supports the profession I work in.
What hero fundraising activities have you got planned?
I will be skydiving from 8,000 feet on the 10th August 2018 over Sailsbury Plain.
Why is the charity important to you?
It supports professionals within a dynamic and potentially stressful profession. Patient care and safety is paramount and in order to achieve this pharmacists need to be in peak condition to maintain high standards. Pharmacist Support helps by providing a unique support service to pharmacists therefore directly helping maintain levels of care to the general public.
Why do you think others should join the Pharmacist Support Fundraising Hero Team?
What’s not to like? Supporting the profession you work in is a no brainer and Pharmacist Support provides a direct vehicle to do so.
