COVID 19 – charity update

The decision has been taken to temporarily suspend wellbeing workshops, but all other services will continue as normal and we will do all we can to support our pharmacy family through these challenging times.

We are aware that the COVID 19 virus has put extra pressure on the sector and that we are all adjusting to life under an ever-changing set of restrictions. The Charity has been monitoring government and Public Health England guidance over the past few weeks and has put preparations in place in order for service to continue from home.

The decision has been taken to temporarily suspend wellbeing workshops, but all other services will continue as normal and we will do all we can to support our pharmacy family through these challenging times. Our only additional request would be that any applications for financial assistance be submitted via email (view further details here).

We are in regular contact with our colleagues at the RPS and GPhC and will continue to monitor the situation and support needs of the profession. We will also continue to share with you, information and guidance on how best to look after yourselves and the wellbeing of your colleagues during these uncertain and pressured times.

Thank you for all that you do in supporting the GB public. As front line members of the healthcare system you spend much of your lives serving others. At Pharmacist Support we’re here for you.

We hope that you are all safe and well.

Let’s keep talking, sharing and supporting each other.

We’re receiving messages from people asking about how they can support the charity during this challenging period. Donations are always welcome, but we also ask that you help us raise awareness of our free and confidential support. We shall be circulating information and guidance to help those on the front line manage their wellbeing – as well as the wellbeing of colleagues – that we’re sure will be ever more necessary over the coming weeks.
